Calcio Storico Fiorentino ("Calcio in Costume") June 19, 24 and 28, in Piazza Santa Croce, 500 players in sixteenth century costume will challenge each other; the teams represent the 4 districts of the center of Florence. It is an event that attracts many people, preceded by a colorful parade in costume.
The cavalcade of the Three King The day of the Epiphany, January 6, a historical procession starts at Palazzo Pitti, passing the Piazza della Signoria to reach the Duomo. It is the ancient reenactment of the visit of the Three Wise Men who came to bring their gifts to the Messiah.
